Xavo Lab Logistics is a logistics system targeted at research facilities like HTS-Laboratories and Compound Storages. It aims to provide transparent visualization and handling of the essential logistics data to its users. XLL provides you with chronological information about the location of specific substances and their usage in Screening Orders.

In order to provide you with its full potential, Xavo Lab Logistics needs detailed information about a lab's devices and its available resources. Utilizing standardized interfaces, e.g. the integrated SiLA-interface, inventory data is being kept up to date.
In XLL your inventory can be compared to a reference at any time. This assures that missing components are realized before an experiment is conducted.

Screening Order Management - visualize the order progress.
With XLL's Screening Order Management researchers can create their orders, monitor progress and enter qualitative feedback about measurement results. Platform Operators are processing transmitted orders following a proven workflow. By checking the inventory of all screening platforms operators can easily assign an order to a specific system or move the required material to the target platform of choice. Large orders can be splitted into practical Runlist before starting a screen. Depending on the integration level of the platform transfer and measurement feedbacks can be feeded into XLL automatically.

Catalog-administration for the entire lifecycle
Catalog Lifecycle Managment makes your life a bit easier.
When it comes to managing Site Catalogs and its respective Reference Sets, any bit of data starting with its creation up to its present state, even up to its archiving, has to be taken into account. In Xavo Lab Logistics this is called Catalog Lifecycle Managment; this is where Site Catalogs and Reference Sets are created and are made available.
XLL ensures that only one site calaog is active. While new orders can be created based on the active catalog, existing tasks can be finalized using items of a retired catalog. As soon as a catalog is no longer needed, the system will archive it.
Know your whereabouts
Lab Logistics Browser - your data at a glance.
Using the browser you have all the information of XLL at arm's length. An easy to use search feature will quickly locate any object you are looking for. Samples and their complete history are presented in a user-friendly search dialogue. It provides you with a great overview of where Samples are used and their movements between the Stores.
Thanks to a highly sophisticated IT-platform, the browser is individually customizable, as are many other modules of XLL. This way you always get the right contextual information fitting your search result.

The product was designed to cover all kinds of solution scenarios supported by its modular structure and highly flexible technical architecture. If desired only a small part of its functionality can be used on its own. The system can easily be adapted to specific needs and can be extended, keeping an eye on economic reasonableness.
Multi-Laboratory environment
Multiple Labs, using one logistics system will, of course, experience many benefits. Every piece of information on available substances can instantly be accessed from each workstation. In addition laboratory-load can be optimized by distributing tasks to several screening systems. XLL's rights managment allows for individual configuration of functionality for each user.
Single-Laboratory environment
Although functional and economic benefits of XLL increase with the number of laboratories (site-linkage), even a single laboratory will benefit from the constant availability of information on used samples. This way, you will know the exact location of a sample (i.e. in which storage on which position) at any time.
Depending on your configuration of XLL, sample information like the amount of thawing-cycles, the remaining volume as well as other relevant data can be tracked and visualized.

He maintains Systems, Stores, Stackers and Plates and processes screening tasks.
Researcher
He creates orders, adapts them (Primary, Confirmation, Validation Screens), monitors their respective progress and enters evaluation feedback.
Compound Manager
He defines the Site Catalogs and Reference Sets and releases them to the system.
Administrator
The Administrator defines user accounts and assignes roles. He creates profiles and maintains master data and inventory types.
