Xavo Plant Scheduling (XPS) is a deeply integrated real-time scheduling system for production planning. The system features tools for daily detailed scheduling and especially for changing the production plan in the course of the day. The user gets support for planning, monitoring and correction of production order execution.

The core of the user interface is the Gantt Editor with some special capabilities. It is permanently connected with your systems and it supports you with your planning work by applying Online Planning Checks in real-time. So you immediately see the impact your actions have and what errors have to be corrected.

The Automatic Scheduling Module (sold separately) enables automated optimization of the detailed planning and production plan. The algorithm used (iFRP®, powered by iFactory) is fast enough to enable the real-time capabilities of the system. We have avoided the use of heuristics completely - thus, the analytical approach leads to excellent quality of the scheduling results.

Xavo Plant Scheduling utilizes modern and efficient interfaces to common production systems like ERP and MES to get a complete overview of the current plant status. The system performs data consolidation and makes real-time information available for the user to achieve ongoing re-scheduling ability.

What if? Simulation on-board.

Xavo Plant Scheduling works with copies of the original data from the production systems. So the user can make so called Simulation Runs to see the consequences of the current planning. Just turn of a machine, put in more staff or play the material-out-of-stock game - these are the crash-tests for your production. Xavo Plant Scheduling shows you what would happen then.

The Monitioring Mode

When a plan is created and released for production, the work of Xavo Plant Scheduling is far from being finished. In Monitoring Mode the system observes the order execution. The degree of fulfillment is continuously checked and if deviations occur, the system immediately informs the user. From this state the user can switch over to the planning mode and fix the problems by making an adequate planning correction.

Xavo Plant Scheduling can be used for the optimization of single plant areas - for example, around intermediate storages - as well as for automated planning of the entire factory. And to make your decision easier, XPS solutions can be expanded step-by-step.
